Careers Fair

Careers Fair

Marlborough School held their first Careers and Transition Fair on 16th May 2019. The aim of the day was to provide our students with meaningful experiences of employers and further education colleges, so all participants were asked to make their tables interactive and fun for our students. The fair was also a great opportunity for parents to find out some more information about the transition process when their child turns 18 and post 19 options in the borough.

Our Participants were:

Prospects, London South-East Colleges, Metropolitan Police, NHS, Advocacy for All, LECB, Carlton Road Day Service Resource Centre, National Maritime Museum, London Air ambulance, Preparing for Adulthood Team- Bexley, Eleanor Care- Smerdon Road Resource Centre, Young Enterprise, Network Rail, Bexley Twofold, Charlton Athletic, Transition Team- nursing and Shooters Hill College.

The fair was a great success, students had some lovely experiences with employers and it was an enjoyable event for all.
