Chislehurst And Sidcup Grammar School
We are very proud of our close partnership with Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School which we have developed over many years. Our Post 16 department has been based on the Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School site since 2008 and we moved to our brand new building, The Legacy Building in 2016. The vision behind Post 16 students being based on a different site is to give students experiences in the wider community before they transition to Post 19 education and the opportunity to face many new and exciting challenges which will help prepare them for adult life.
As part of the partnership, students from the Chislehurst Sidcup Grammar School Post 16 department join our students for lunch time clubs. This gives our students the opportunity to develop meaningful and positive relationships with a wider peer group through enrichment such as art, dance, sports, ICT and health and beauty activities. Additionally, students from year 9 join our students once a week for lessons.
Our Post 16 students have also had the opportunity to take part in joint projects and events with students from Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School such as musical performances, choir sessions, art and design technology taster sessions and sporting events.
